Non-political movement founded by Haitian-born hip-hop superstar Wyclef Jean. The movement seeks to provide the youth of Haiti and the diaspora with the practical tools, resources and renewed hope necessary to rebuild their nation and chart a new course for the future.

Wyclef’s Mother and Sister – Carma and Yele in the Field

Wyclef Jean’s mom and younger sister Melky Jean, founder of the Haiti charity the Carma Foundation partnered with Yéle Haiti last week in Haiti. Yéle Haiti and the Carma Foundation teamed up with Crocs to distribute shoes to the Haitian people.

Yéle Haiti and the Carma Foundation visited The Carma Foundation Orphanage outside of Leogane. The two organizations brought much needed medical supplies, as well as  toys and games for the kids. The two day visit included movies, BBQs, and cooking classes for the care takers with renowned New York restaurant owner Danae Capelletto.
